The questions that come before every first order
Straight answers on minimums, lead times, fabrics and labelling. If yours is not here, ask it directly — you will get an answer from the production floor, not a brochure.
Still unanswered?
Our account managers work in English, German, French, Spanish and Turkish, and reply within 24 hours on working days.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Ten pieces per style and colourway, with a flexible size curve inside that quantity. That is low enough to test a design in a real market before you commit to stock, and the same production line scales to repeat bulk programmes — up to 2,500 garments a day — once it sells.
Do you produce under my own brand and labels?
Yes — that is the core of what we do. Every order ships with your custom woven neck label, your printed care and wash instructions, your hangtags and your packaging. No Wolvate branding appears anywhere on the garment, the polybag or the carton.
Which sports do you manufacture for?
Football and goalkeeper kit, rugby, basketball, volleyball, esports, running and athletics, cycling and tennis, plus cricket, baseball, netball, ice hockey, referee wear and strength sports. Alongside those we run tracksuits, hoodies, polos, outerwear, bags and team accessories, so a full range can be built from one supplier.
What fabrics do you actually run?
Twenty-three constructions, from a 100 GSM calendered rain shell to a 380 GSM modal blend, including a 300 GSM contact interlock for rugby and a double-face piqué that is 65% cotton and still takes full sublimation. Every quote states the yarn construction, composition and GSM with its ±5 tolerance, and each discipline page lists the fabrics we run for it.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship to brands, fulfilment centres and warehouses internationally, with export documentation prepared on our side and handover to your freight forwarder or ours.
How quickly will you reply?
Within 24 hours on working days, with a technical answer rather than an acknowledgement. Adding a WhatsApp number to your enquiry is the fastest route to our production team.
How does sampling work?
Sampling is a stage of the order, not a starting point. Once the design, fabric and quantity are agreed we produce a physical sample in your colourway with your labels applied, and nothing goes to bulk until you sign it off. Terms and turnaround for your specific sample are confirmed with the quote.
What are your production lead times?
Bulk production runs 10 to 14 days once the specification is approved. Shipping transit sits on top of that and depends on your destination and freight method, so we quote it separately rather than folding it into a single optimistic number. You receive a written production calendar at order confirmation.
Do you charge for design work?
No. Our ten-person design team works on your range at no cost, across every product group we manufacture. Send a logo, a colour direction or a reference and you get artwork, colourways and a technical spec sheet back — you only pay for garments.
Do you hold compliance certificates?
Yes. Rather than list them here, we send the specific certificate your market or retailer asks for along with the quote, so you receive the current document with its number rather than a logo on a web page.
Which languages does your team work in?
English, German, French, Spanish and Turkish. You deal with an account manager in your own language, which matters when a decision comes down to a GSM figure or a seam type rather than a price.
Can you work from my tech pack, or design from scratch?
Both. If you have a finished tech pack we produce to it. If you have a logo and a direction, our in-house technical design team takes it from sketch to 3D mockup to physical prototype — the concept designs on this page exist exactly for that starting point.
